The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the 15th International Conference of the Asian Academy of Preventive Dentistry (AAPD 2023) would like to invite participants to present their research in the Poster Sessions of the AAPD 2023.

All presenters can choose whether they would like to join the competition for the AAPD Lion Award or AAPD Outstanding study/project award during the submission process. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed, and the accepted abstracts will be presented by the original presenter during the Poster Sessions.

• Abstracts should be sent to the Scientific Committee of the AAPD 2023 by e-mail for review before submission.
• You must check that the e-mail address of all authors is correct before submission.
• Abstracts before being accepted by the Scientific Committee can only be submitted via e-mail (aapd2023@gmail.com). Once the abstract is accepted, a notification e-mail will be sent to the author. The author can sign up and log in to the website, then submit the accepted abstract via an electronic channel as text on the Submission page through our online submission system.
• Acknowledgment of your abstract submission will be sent by email upon your submission. Authors will receive an e-mail notification upon a submission made.
• If you haven’t received any e-mail notification, or if you have any questions about the status of your abstract, you should not re-submit the abstract again. Instead please e-mail us immediately via aapd2023@gmail.com. The LOC will follow up on the matter within 7 working days.
• The Scientific Committee will review the abstract and will reply to the author within 14 working days. Once an abstract is accepted, the Scientific Committee will send a notification e-mail to the author to prepare the submission of the accepted abstract via the Website.
• The accepted abstract must be submitted within 30 calendar days after the participant received the e-mail notification about the acceptance of the abstract. Otherwise, the SC & LOC will consider it has been withdrawn from the AAPD 2023.

• You must obtain approval from all co-authors before putting their names on the abstract.
• Submission of another similar abstract from the same group is absolutely unacceptable.
• The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reclassify the submitted abstracts into the most appropriate area after review.
• Abstracts will only be considered for presentation if they have not been published or presented elsewhere.
• The abstract should be sent for review to the AAPD 2023 Scientific Committee (SC) by e-mail: aapd2023@gmail.com for review. The AAPD 2023 SC will review and confirm the acceptance of the abstract within 14 working days. The candidates will be notified if their abstract is accepted for presentation.
• Upon acceptance of the abstract, presenters are required to submit the accepted abstract through the AAPD 2023 official website and finish the registration and payment after receiving e-mail confirmation of the acceptance of the abstract by 30 calendar days and not later than 15 Aug 2023. Otherwise, the Scientific Committee will consider accepted abstract as withdrawn.
  For example, if the participant received the e-mail notification about the acceptance of the abstract on 1 May 2023, the payment must be made before the end of 30 May 2023. Otherwise, the Scientific Committee will consider the accepted abstract withdrawn.
• In addition, presenters are required to submit the poster through the AAPD 2023 official website by 30 Sep 2023. The AAPD 2023 LOC reserves all the rights to exclude abstracts submitted without the registration payment.

Abstracts must be written in English. The maximum length is 250 words. Please use the abstract template to prepare your abstract. The abstract title, the author(s), or names of institutions are not included in the word count. The abstract title is limited to 15 words, and it should be entered in a title-case format. In general, you should capitalize the first letter of each word unless it is a preposition or an article. Each author (first name and last name) plus an institution or affiliation should be listed in the proper order. Please include a brief detail of your study in the following order: Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Enter no more than five keywords and separate them with a comma. Someone should be appointed as the presenter during the submission process.

NOTE: It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract with accurate and meaningful data.
