The use of lasers has been applied in dentistry for over 20 years. The dental profession and patients are gaining acceptance to this technology. Laser promotes faster healing and effective decontamination. Recently, multiwavelength lasers are introduced by more manufactures. It can be confusing for dentists to understand the purpose of multiwavelength lasers. This workshop is designed to demonstrate the clinical applications of these wavelengths.

Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is a minimally invasive treatment option for dental caries World Health Organization (WHO) has recognised SDF as one of the essential dental medicines. This workshop will be a valuable opportunity for dental professionals and students to learn about the clinical use of SDF for managing dental caries. During the workshop, participants will learn about the mechanism of action, effectiveness, safety, indications, and contraindications of SDF.
